Terms of Service

The Service

PetVault AI provides tools to store pet health records, set reminders, generate QR pet passports and emergency cards, share owner-controlled public profiles and lost-pet alerts, receive AI-generated guidance, and manage subscriptions. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You must verify your email address before full access is granted.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processors (Razorpay and Stripe) on a recurring monthly or annual basis until cancelled. By subscribing you authorize us to charge the applicable fees plus any taxes.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain paid features until then. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

AI and Veterinary Disclaimer

PetVault AI's AI features and health scores are provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. They are not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment and are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian.

Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian for any question about your pet's health, and seek emergency care when needed. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your pet's care. See our Veterinary Disclaimer for more.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content you upload (records, photos, text). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and to those you choose to share with.

You are responsible for the content you upload and share. You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, not to impersonate others, and not to publish another person's private information without permission.

Public profiles, messaging, and lost-pet features must not be used for harassment, spam, fraud, or any unlawful purpose. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach security, access data that is not yours, disrupt or overload the Service, scrape it without permission, or use it to build a competing product. We employ rate limiting and other protections and may suspend access for abuse.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we create, is owned by PetVault AI and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetVault AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law and Contact
